Chaweng

Chaweng is a popular beach located in the south of Koh Samui and according to many tourists it is the best beach on the island. The entrance to the beach is shallow and gentle, and the sand is quite soft and clean.

The main attraction of the beach is its cleanliness and well-developed infrastructure. In the center of the beach is concentrated a lot of activities – bars, discos. If you go to the north of the beach, you will be able to spend time in peace and quiet. This is where tourists with children go.

Lamai

Lamai is also a popular beach on Koh Samui, which is famous for its good service and beautiful nature. Length of Lamai is more than 5 kilometers, it can be divided into three areas – south, central and northern.

All tourists associate Lamai with clean sand, crystal water, surrounding rocks and wildlife. On the beach you can also find a large number of cafes, bars and restaurants, hotels, malls, stores and souvenir shops. Maenam is considered one of the best beaches on Koh Samui for families. Maenam is very clean, although at low tide you can find trash here. During the low season – from May to December, the beach is not a lot of people, but in the high season, the beach enjoys huge popularity. Around the beach is surrounded by different vegetation.

Chong Mon

Chong Mon is a kilometer long beach, located on a relatively enclosed bay, in the north of Samui. Chong Mon is a popular beach among tourists, during high season it is quite crowded. Entrance to the water is clean and smooth, without coral rubble and stones. You can go to the beach with your mat for recreation, or rent a deck chair with a plastic table.

In general, the beach is clean, but sometimes you can find plastic bottles and papers.

Bang Po

Bang Po is a small beach that is perfect for a quiet and relaxing holiday, as it is not too popular with tourists.  The sea here is clean, the entry into the water is smooth, without fragments of coral and sharp rocks. The beach is considered a quiet alternative to the neighboring bustling Maenam.
